Vivi Drăgan Vasile is a highly regarded director of photography in Romania, with a career spanning over five decades.
He has collaborated with notable figures in Romanian cinema such as Stere Gulea on the Moromeții trilogy, Alexandru Tatos on Secretul armei secrete, Nae Caranfil on Filantropica, Cristian Mungiu on Occident and Horațiu Mălăele on Silent Wedding.
In 1992, he founded the Fundația Arte Vizuale (FAV), where he serves as the executive director.
